ISO 50001: Foundation

The ISO 50001: Foundation course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the requirements, structure, and practical application of an Energy Management System (EnMS) based on ISO 50001. ISO 50001 is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is applicable to organizations of all sizes and sectors. The standard supports systematic improvement of energy performance, including energy efficiency, energy use, and energy consumption, leading to reduced costs and environmental impact. This Foundation-level course goes beyond awareness and introduces learners to core ISO 50001 clauses, energy planning, performance indicators, leadership responsibilities, and continual improvement concepts. It prepares participants to support EnMS implementation, internal audits, and energy performance improvement initiatives, or to progress to ISO 50001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certifications.
