ISO 14001: Foundation

The ISO 14001: Foundation course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the requirements, structure, and practical application of an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO 14001. ISO 14001 is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is applicable to organizations of all sizes and sectors. The standard supports organizations in protecting the environment, preventing pollution, meeting compliance obligations, and continually improving environmental performance. This Foundation-level course goes beyond awareness and introduces learners to core ISO 14001 clauses, environmental aspect and impact management, risk-based thinking, leadership responsibilities, and performance evaluation. It prepares participants to support EMS implementation, internal audits, and continual improvement initiatives, or to progress to ISO 14001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certifications.
